I realize these post aren't all back-to-back. They take more time than my typical posts since I have to first find all of the photos and then edit them all. So, I've been spreading them out a bit! I cannot tell you how happy this has made me going back through the last year. I get to relive all of the wonderful things we were able to do, the places we got to visit, and watching #BokentheBerner grow up. If you missed the first half of the year, check out Part 1 and Part 2!!
It was a busy, busy summer! We had family come to Colorado to visit, drove across the country, flew across the country, and all while raising a puppy. Pshew!
July was a great month! Family came to visit the first week of July to celebrate July 4th. We spent the weekend in Breckenridge, CO. It was one of the coziest, most wonderful towns! Josh's mother's side of the family all made the trip from Washington and from Michigan! And the very next week, we took a cross-country road trip ourselves!
Josh with his beautiful mother and awesome stepdad! And puppy-faced #BokentheBerner, of course!
And Shana, my super awesome, totally amazing soon-to-be sister!!!
After spending the week with family, we packed up, and headed east! A road trip from Colorado to North Carolina, to South Carolina, back to North Carolina, then finally home to Colorado. #BokentheBerner was a champ. I think we whined more! :)
Boken is quite the cuddly dog. He always has been. Now that he's 75lbs, he doesn't quite fit in the front seat with us, anymore, but he does cozy up in our laps on the couch!
We spent the first weekend of our trip in Asheville, NC, doing lots of wedding stuff! I found my wedding dress (yay!), we found the most delicious day-after-the-wedding brunch spot, explored options for the rehearsal dinner, and spent lots of quality time with our families!
August was a bit calmer. We stayed in Colorado and enjoyed the last bit of the hot, hot summer! When we don't have a lot going on, we take lots of photos of Boken, obviously! So enjoy a little Boken overload. The first photo was from the day we had our engagement photos taken. We went to Eldorado Canyon State Park. It was breathtaking!!
The last time I was able to pick up #BokenTheBerner!!
September was another travel and adventure-filled month! We were able to spend so much time with the best of friends!! One my of best friends from college, Ashley, and her boyfriend, Cameron came out to visit the first of the month! We hiked, ate sushi, and explored! We then spent Labor Day weekend in New York City with more amazing friends. Josh grew up with John and Eric and they're both his best men in our wedding (who said you could only have one best man?!)! So, the three boys and their better halves (insert us ladies) spent the weekend gallivanting around the city!
Isn't Colorado beautiful?!
On the subway our first day in the city! Josh and I met right outside of New York City where we spent the summer interning for the same company. So hopping on the subways brought us right back to that first summer together!
The city from The World Trade Center!!
We also got to spend some time with one of my awesome cousins, who lives in New York City!
And on September 14th, we welcomed another beautiful niece into our family!
I must be the luckiest aunt EVER to be blessed with these 3 adorable rascals!!
The last time #BokentheBerner was small enough for Josh to hold!!
Me with the two princesses of the family! So cute!!
September ended on the most beautiful, bittersweet note. I officially closed Nothin' but Nola. And embarked on this great new adventure!
Part 4 and the end of 2015 photo recap will be coming next week!
